Yard Person - Big River Group

This is an ongoing casual position based in Hume, operating Monday to Friday with consistent hours.

Duties:

• Forklift driving
• Manual goods handling (Pick and pack)
• May be required to offside truck driver to manually unload on site.
• Mon - Friday up to 8 hrs per day (store hours are 7-4.30pm so role hours are in these times)

About the Role Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you will be responsible for:

• Operating forklifts to safely load and unload trucks
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock
• General warehouse housekeeping duties Providing assistance to drivers and customers onsite
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

About You:

• Current LF forklift licence
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to work Monday–Friday on an ongoing casual basis
• Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
